Saturday Night Dinner & Dance Party

After a day of trade-showing, and while we're together with great Mac friends, it’s time to play.
Since we're on the one and only Queen Mary, we're taking advantage of its award-winning cuisine and hosting a proper sit-down full-course meal. We’re assured the dinners are the same excellent meals served in the ship’s restaurants.

As this dinner costs us $41 per meal, tickets for it are $45.
(We don't want to make money — just a good time.)

What's a nice dinner party without great music?

We’ll dine to the live tunes of two excellent music ensembles:

  • First Teri Hitt charms us
(If you purchased the MacAddict Special Edition Mac Handbook, you've got a few of Teri's songs on the accompanying CD.)

  • And then... our special guest stars are Elmer Hopper, former lead singer with the Platters, Beverly Carroll, Michael Bishop, and John Mills.

John Mills continues the tradition of classic sound of the Mills Brothers who became the first vocal group in the history of broadcast to sell a million records. He continues an award-winning musical lineage as the Mills Brothers continue to perform since 1931. The Mills Brothers' hits include Glow Worm, Cab Driver, and You're Nobody Until Somebody Loves You.

Elmer Hopper has performed as the lead singer of the Platters and has traveled extensively, performing in such countries as China, Japan, and South America. With such hits as Only You, The Great Pretender, and Smoke Gets in Your Eyes, Elmer has entertained millions around the world along with the Platters.

After dinner perhaps we’ll have some Karaoke.

We've also got a 40 x 40 foot dance floor to enjoy, so we'll have dance music as well.
Ever see a Mac be a turntable?

Whatever the entertainment, we promise music won't be too loud for conversation.

We'll also have some classic board games on hand. Or perhaps you're more Pictionary or charade-inclined. Or maybe you'll just enjoy a good conversation. There's plenty of space.
