MacMixer™ — Friday NightThe MacGathering is a complete event; we can't just leave you hanging with nothing to do on a Friday night! So in 2006 we introduced the MacMixer, a hit that we'll definitely hold again in 2007. After the show floor closed everyone was invited to join us in the outdoor courtyard for a cocktail party. This was a unique opportunity for all attendees to mingle with fellow Mac users: attendees, instuctors, and vendors. Folks had a great time chatting with KNX radio's Jeff Levy. People had fun turning to discover a familiar face as Jerry Mathers hung out with his brother Jim, who happens to be the founder of the Digital Cinema Society. Magic Bob Weiss strolled amongst the crowd mystifying with magic. The MacMixer was free and open to all event attendees. We had a bartender for a no-host bar, and plan to have some light snacks for you. The MacMixer lasted for a couple of hours, so some folks had dinner first, then joined us, while some joined us for a while, then headed off to dinner at the hotel's restaurant. The Keynoter followed.
